Tonight
John is assembling a burrito for me because my hands were cold.
Logan to John: “John, please use these tongs to pick up a taco shell so your hands don’t touch any that someone else might want to eat.”
John: “why? Would someone be offended if my hands touched their food?”
Logan: “John. Your hands smell like goats and chickens and bad things. I smelled them. They shouldn’t touch the food.”
John, still assembling my food. With his hands. “You think there’s a problem with that? I’ll wash my hands when I finish this so they’re clean when I make my tacos then.”
Logan: “You should. No one wants stuff like that on their food.”
Penelope has to leave the room laughing at this point!
Throughout the meal, when Logan asked for more, she was careful to ask that John use tongs to get the taco shell, not his hands.
Logan ate five taco’s with yum sauce, corn, lima beans, avocado, pinto beans, and some hamburger. Mostly with the first three items though. The yum sauce holds the other things on.
“…I eat my peas with honey…”
