Here a mother, there a mother

First my mom had an Angiogram on Monday (which showed what they expected it to show), now John’s mom, Wilma, is in the hospital after what was evidently congestive heart failure, pneumonia, emphysema a “mild heart attack” (it took the hospital a little while to diagnose why she was there, we had multiple choice diagnoses for a while!), and will be having her own Angiogram tomorrow.

John and I are talking to Philomena every day to keep up with what’s going on. I’m trying to figure out what we do about a farm sitter if we have to get out of here and go to Florida on short notice. We’re thinking good thoughts for everyone in question (Wilma and Cam), and waiting for the next report.

I got home today to find 80% of our ruminants in our yard. We’ve got to get a latch for the barn gate that they can’t open. I avoided hitting a deer on the drive home at least. And was able to lure the goats back and shoo the sheep back in to the barn yard. Just another day in the life…
