Logan went from one that I viewed with skepticism, to twelve ninety minutes ago along with the news that her desk partner who’s been out from school for two days has been out with the chickenpox.  Last count five minutes ago was thirty-one.  Looks like we’re rolling.  We’re also planning a contageous childhood disease playdate tomorrow for several folks who’ve also been waiting for the chickenpox.

We still have Jasmine to get to school next week, so we’ll be begging rest space from someone in Eugene during the day.  One of the children from first grade who already has the chicken pox now was currently vacinated against it, so we’ll see if my vaccine holds.  If I come down with it, trips to eugene will cease, other than one (with John driving) to see my doctor.

ps — spelling checker has turned itself off for some reason for live posting although it was on a few minutes ago.  *sigh*
