Continued Easter Pictures
Finn’s papa said I could put her picture up two, so I’ve got a couple more pictures from Nonny’s house, plus Logan with the easter basket John and I made for her, from the day after Easter, when I remembered to take a picture of it. I’ve also taken some pictures of her at swimming lessons. Half those are still on the camera at the moment, so I’ll try for a different day with them. A good number are a brown haired shape mostly under water. Plus a couple showing the water where she just jumped in. I got some that actually show her too.
Finn and Logan looked for Finns eggs this way after Logan got to Susan’s. Logan helped direct Finn for where to look and bring her attention back to the eggs if she was distracted by other interesting things. They also examined the contents of some of the plastic eggs if they came open. Note the coincidentally matching pony tails. Logan and I added it up and believe that Logan is six years older than Finn, minus a couple months. Logan is quite delighted by this fact and is planning what she and Finn can do when she is twelve and Finn is six. She has a good grasp of that sort of a ratio because Jasmine is seven years older than she is.
Mopba Ty read to both the girls, after trying to convince Logan that she should take a turn reading. Logan circulated the room with reading materials and was read to by everyone she cornered, I think. I read her a book about the Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig. It was very funny.
The basket John and I put together. The Cardinal is sitting on a batch of eggs that are mostly candles, plus one stone and one goose. I made a flat needle felted daffodil, a pink and purple flat flower, a flat easter egg, and then a three dimensional tulip with a stem. Last year I had live flowers to put on Logan’s basket, but the daffodils were about done this year and the tulips haven’t started. I’m pleased with how the wool flowers turned out, I’d never tried to make them before. Oh, I also made the bunny, over several days, with occasional help from Logan, who didn’t know I’d decide to put him in her Easter basket.
