Chocolate

Logan and I made chocolate ourselves!

With Ivory Coast beans that John roasted, cracked and winnowed, we weighed and heated and mixed and made our own milk chocolate! Today the three of us molded it up into large and small shapes. I’m going to pack some up later this week to send to my mother and dad. I wondered if anyone else in the family would like some to try. We’ll ship a few to Wilma. What about the rest of you? Phil, Gloria, Joanne? Alan and Peg? Jean and David — well, actually, we’ll be molding up some Papua New Guinea chocolate later this week that I’ll send you a bit of, because of that connection. But you could speak up for this one too. Erin and Bruce? Cheryl? Katherine? Leigh? Aunt Jane and Uncle Cary? I’m probably snubbing a handful of folks one way or another by forgetting to name them, but I doubt even half of the ones named read me. Damned if I do, damned if I don’t.

Leave a comment if you’d like a sample of Logan’s and my work as chocolatiers.
