4748 Days
Today is John’s and my 13th Anniversary. Somehow I thought last year was 13, so it feels like we’re doing this one again, which is why I’ve switched to days. John is now more than half over his bronchitis and functioning again, and Logan and I have been off our antibiotics for a week, or even more. April was a long month!
John’s taking the day off work so we can all go to school, where I’ll go to the Mayfair planning meeting as usual and we’ll hang around to see if the kindergartens are going to do their May Day flower parade. Another family has an anniversary today (9th) and our friend Sherri, Sandy’s mom has a birthday today. We’ll all hang out briefly after school, and I’ve said we should all eat lunch out together but I don’t know if it will happen. Somewhere to eat with five kids and people with wheat gluten (x 3), egg, cows milk (x 3), food coloring, and a handfull of other more readily avoided allergy foods is interesting.
I’ve got to go wake Logan up way early - we’re feeding a bummer lamb, which means we all traipse out at 6 to feed her and now her friend too who for some reason is taking a ton of electrolight solution despite the fact she’s not a bummer. It looks like we’re in for a day with with clouds but no hail at least, although yesterdays hail was a lot of fun to watch. That was the second day, or maybe third, of hail and rain storms. I think about trying to have our weeding with hail and am glad it’s not this year! The wedding party would have gotten wet, cold and pelted!
Happy Beltaine, May Day, and so on to all of you. I hope you all have a great day.
