More on Linx

Linx wasn’t interested in the idea of coming down for his bowl of food last night.  However because John had to walk around the barn and down in to the pasture to get him, he had the shephards crook with him, and reached up and hooked him down.  I think that makes the tree more like 12 to 15 feet rather than 20.  Linx was not happy, but was releved to be back in the house with his dinner and a drink.

I suspect he’d gotten out before John left for work rather than when I got home due to how thirsty he was.  He came upstairs and sat in the sink to drink.  First he drank from water I put there for him with the drain in, but when he’d finished with that (there was water left), he was still interested.  So I turned on a slow stream of water.  Linx had a fine time biting at it and soaking his head for five to ten minutes!  It’s not that it’s hot here — we’re running from the fifty’s to the seveny’s — it was probably about 60 last night.  It was very entertaining to watch him.  Then John took him down to settle him in with Mango-cat for the night, probably sloshing with water.

We’ll try even more to keep him in today.

Time to wake Logan up for school!
